Catholic Charities Health and Human Services provides
direction, governance, integration, management, supervision and leadership
within the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland in the ever-changing social and
economic environment in which we live.
Our work is accomplished through
several entities and we are blessed with competent leaders and skilled
employees in all areas of service. We are dedicated to be collaborative
and to interact with public and private health and human service organizations
at local, diocesan, state and national levels. In this way, we can serve
the people of the eight counties of the Diocese in the
most effective way.

Congratulations to Catholic Charities Fatima Family Center for being recognized by CCUSA at the Centennial Leadership Summit to Reduce Poverty on April 22 at John Carroll University. Fatima was presented with a Best Practices plaque and received a $25,000 cash award for its innovative programming. At the lunchtime ceremony, Fatima Family Center was recognized as a national model for supporting youth and families with programs designed to develop the full potential of individuals in the community through education, socialization, personal and physical development.
The Catholic community in the United States is reaching out to our brothers and sisters in Haiti in significant and immediate ways. Catholic Relief Services (CRS), the official international humanitarian agency of the U.S. Catholic Church, is mounting a major emergency response to this disaster and has made an initial commitment of 5 million dollars for immediate use in the relief effort.
